With a curriculum focused on adult learners with limited time, we have developed a method based on the modular learning approach. This allows learners to be in control of their learning, at their own pace, at their time.

Essential Japanese Language Course (25 modules)

This course is designed to be equivalent to a 150-hour classroom based Japanese course. This course is set to JLPT N5 level and will teach you the basic writing systems of Japan, as well as elementary level kanji. This is a fully online course with consultations and assessment every week to ensure understanding before proceeding to the next lesson.

Continue your Studies in Japan (Consultation)

For those who wish to continue to study the Japanese language in a fully immersive experience. We have a partner school in a quiet little town in the Ibaraki prefecture that will be able to accept students with the minimum N5 proficiency or has completed the 150-hour basic Japanese language course.

Learn the basic kanji required for daily life.

There are about 100 kanji required for you to pass the JLPT N5 level and about 250 kanji that you will need in daily life. We will cover most of these everyday kanji and ensure retention by the end of the 25 modules of the Essential Japanese course.

Listening and Reading Comprehension

Comprehension is essential for students to be able to effectively read in Japanese. These modules aim to introduce daily Japanese conversations and to ensure proper comprehension in both listening and reading.

Grammar

Basic grammar forms is necessary for any language. This is the foundation upon which you will build your Japanese proficiency. Take note that these are just the basic building blocks and that successful language acquisition would require immersion and daily use.
